Gould steps down from Harris board as he moves up at Greycroft

US — Harris Interactive board director Alan Gould has resigned after 20 months helping the company’s product innovation efforts.

Gould, the founder of IAG Research and former CEO of Nielsen Advertiser Solutions, became an independent director of Harris in April 2011.

At the time he was an executive in residence at venture capital fund Greycroft Partners. He has since become a venture partner with the firm and he cited these increased responsibilities as the reason for his resignation from Harris.

In its most recent results, Harris reported a 12% fall in revenues to $33m for the first quarter of fiscal 2013. It posted $1.8m in operating income, compared to a $4.3m loss last year.
