Growth trend stable – Nielsen up 10% in Q3
The company’s Buy segment, which covers consumer purchase information and insights, reported revenue of $906m – with information services up 13.2% to $643m and insight services up 9.6% to $263m. Operating income was $132m.
Nielsen’s Watch arm, which includes TV, online, mobile and other media measurement activities, had sales of $443m for the three months ended 30 September, with TV measurement alone growing 8.4%. Operating income was $110m.
Expositions revenue was up 1.6% to $64m.
Nine-month revenue for the group was up 9% to $4.1bn.
