Haleon hires head of insights and analytics
Painter (pictured) will sit within the global marketing leadership team and report to chief marketing officer Tamara Rogers.
He will be responsible for leading Haleon’s global insights and analytics team, with a remit to use data analytics and consumer insight to inform strategic choices in areas including brand building, product innovation and portfolio development.
Painter joins Haleon from snacking company Pladis Global, where he was chief insights officer. His career in insight and analytics spans 30 years in consumer goods and he has previously held leadership positions at PepsiCo and Cadbury.
This is a newly created role for Haleon.
Haleon, the maker of brands including Sensodyne and Centrum, was formerly the consumer healthcare business of pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) until it spun off the division in 2022.
James Sallows, previously global head of transformation and capability, consumer and business insights and analytics, left Haleon in late 2023.
