Human8 partners with Japanese research agency SevenSeas

BELGIUM – Research consultancy Human8, formerly InSites Consulting, has signed a strategic partnership with SevenSeas Marketing Research, based in Tokyo.

The move follows Human8’s acquisitions of ABN Impact and Answer Global, both in the Asia-Pacific region.

Alongside several acquisitions in recent years, Human8 has also invested in regional strategic partnerships. SevenSeas will become the eighth partner hub for Human8, after the company agreed a similar partnership with Provokers in 2021, across seven offices in Latin America.

Through the partnership, SevenSeas will be able to offer research communities to its clients in Japan and access expertise from Human8, which employs around 900 people globally.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Maz Amirahmadi, managing director Apac at Human8, said: “Our shared vision on the future of consumer insights, our strong focus on consultative services and the complementarity in terms of geography, form a strong foundation for this strategic partnership in Japan.”
