IAB Europe appoints economist to expand research
This new role has been created by IAB to build its market analysis and economic research for corporate members and its IAB network.
Knapp (pictured) has more than 15 years’ experience in advertising research and forecasting and joins from IHS Markit where he was executive director for advertising research.
Townsend Feehan, IAB Europe CEO said: “IAB Europe’s academic focus has been developed to provide outside perspectives on the opportunities and challenges within the European media landscape. Combined with our own member policy, technological and business insights, it will help shape and align our overall strategic focus and subsequent industry outputs. After seeing Daniel’s outstanding contribution to research, it’s great to have him as a permanent part of the team."
Knapp’s appointment follows that of Patrick Verdon as technical director and Helen Mussard as marketing and business strategy director.
