IAB Europe opens GDPR framework for comment
The cross-industry initiative aims to help publishers, advertisers, technology vendors and agencies meet GDPR requirements around transparency and user choice ahead of the regulation coming into effect on 25 May.
The framework includes technical specifications to aid the digital advertising industry in interpreting and complying with the new regulations around privacy. A draft version of the specifications have been published here for public comment.
Organisations have until 8 April to meet with stakeholders involved in the framework and provide feedback.
The final version of the framework is expected to be released mid-April, following consultation with the industry.
