ID Factor axes staff in restructure
UK— Online research agency ID Factor has axed eight jobs at its London office.
The redundancies are part of the job cuts announced by parent firm TMN Group earlier this month, when the company warned that full-year profits would be 50% below expectations. They equate to 5% of the group’s workforce.
Gavin Male, group sales and marketing director at TMN, told Research that the affected jobs were a “mixture of sales, business development and operations”. Of these, “three to four” are research-specific roles in the area of panel and project management.
The cuts are part of a restructure to “streamline” the group’s operations and maintain profitability, Male said.
He said ID Factor was moving to “focus on its core product offerings of specialist panel supply, survey scripting and a number of launches in the near future, including a range of instant research products and high-end B2B panels.”
According to Male, TMN remains “committed to and optimistic” about the long-term prospects of ID Factor and online research.
