Ideally names marketing lead
Halpin (pictured right) will report directly to co-founder and chief revenue officer Joshua Nu’u-Steele (pictured left) and will be tasked with developing and implementing Ideally’s overarching marketing strategy.
Other tasks will be to develop Ideally’s brand voice, expand its community presence and collaborate closely on sales and account-based marketing.
Halpin previously spent 11 years at Google Australia and New Zealand in sales product strategy, creative innovation and consumer marketing roles, most recently as go-to-market lead for Google’s Consumer Apps portfolio in Australia, focused on Google Search and core Google brand health.
Prior to Google, Halpin held brand and communication strategy roles Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and Venables Bell & Partners in San Francisco and Naked Communications in Sydney.
Halpin’s appointment follows other recent hires at Ideally including Anastasia Ramsey as customers success lead and Geena Fulmer as enterprise BDM in Auckland, and Liv Walker as product designer in Sydney.
Nu’u-Steele said: “With two-thirds of our customers being marketers, Maura’s diverse skills set across media, creative, consumer research and product marketing will help speak directly to our customers enabling Ideally to continue to push boundaries in revolutionising how brands gather insights and achieve growth.”
