IFOP buys Sociovision
Founded in 1954 as Cofremca, Sociovision now employs 14 associates and is known for its Observatoire France annual survey conducted among 2000 French respondents, with 4000 questions completed, as well as its International Observer which is carried out in 11 countries among 27,000 people.
IFOP said the deal was an "important step" in its strategy to build a major international market research group.
Stéphane Truchi (pictured), chairman of the executive board of IFOP, said: “This acquisition is a great growth opportunity for IFOP and a sign of positive momentum. It reinforces IFOP’s position in the high added-value research segment by including in its offer, the Sociovision brand, which will be retained.”
