Imperium merges with TrueSample
Connecticut-based Imperium and Seattle-based TrueSample offer technology that helps research agencies to confirm the identities of research participants and make sure the data they're getting online is accurate.
Following an integration period, the companies will be combined under the Imperium brand. Their joint strengths will “meet the ever more complex challenges of online fraud detection and identity verification,” said Marshall C Harrison, founder and CEO of Imperium.
“Once fully integrated, the combined company will have greater scale and additional resources to continue to innovate and meet the needs of our customers,” Harrison said.
Originally developed by MarketTools, TrueSample was sold to SurveyMonkey in 2011, who in turn sold it to a group of investors in 2013.
