Informa launches VC fund
The fund will make early-stage investments in companies operating in the knowledge and information services economy.
It focuses on investing in start-ups with products and services focused on ‘content, intelligence and connections’, or that align with Informa’s core interests.
Seed and Series A investments will be offered by the fund, which invests globally, based in New York and London.
Richard Stanton, managing partner, Informa Ventures, said: "Our investment focus is on start-ups that operate in the global market for information services, and who foresee and can seize on commercial opportunities that arise from the adoption of new technologies and changes in human behaviour and business practices."
