Insights Family founder becomes university entrepreneur in residence
The appointment will see Richardson (pictured) get involved in guest lectures, mentorship programmes and collaborative projects with students and staff in the university’s schools, working closely with Carol Brown, head of the University of Greater Manchester’s Business School.
Richardson, who founded The Insights Family in 2017, received an honorary doctorate from the university in 2022 and sits on its industry advisory board.
Brown said: “This is fantastic news for our students who will benefit from Nick’s laser sharp entrepreneurial spirit and his experience in setting up and growing substantial businesses.
“This is the latest development in our strategy to strengthen Greater Manchester Business School as an accessible business school, where students learn about enterprise through practice.”
Richardson added: “The University of Greater Manchester holds a special place in my heart, as it gave me the inspiration and courage to setup The Insights Family in 2016.
“I look forward to contributing to the University’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and inspiring the next generation of innovators.”
