Ipsos revenue up 1.9% in ‘best Q1’
The company said this was the best Q1 result ever recorded in Euros and the best quarter growth rate since Ipsos bought Synovate in October 2011.
While EMEA revenue dropped 1.3% for the period compared with 2015, Americas was up 4.7% and Asia Pacific up 4%. Overall organic growth of 3.7% was achieved in the period.
Its media measurement research and marketing business Ipsos Connect is showing signs of recovery after its poor 2015 performance. The company described its first quarter revenue as “close to stable”.
So while media and advertising revenues dropped 4% compared with Q1 2015, marketing research increased 3.3%; opinion and social research was down 3.7%; and client and employee relationship management increased 12.4%.
