Ipsos to acquire TMG Custom Research

FRANCE— Ipsos has struck a deal to acquire the custom research division of TMG – The Marketing Group – based in Central America.

TMG Custom Research operates in Panama and Guatemala where it offers focus groups, in-depth interviews and CATI and CAPI services to clients in the consumer goods, durables and health sectors.

The firm’s revenue in 2010 totalled $2.6m.

Carlos Harding (pictured), Ipsos deputy CEO in charge of corporate development, said: “Ipsos, which is already established in the region with offices in Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, is happy to welcome the expert research teams of TMG.
