Kantar appoints CEO of Insights Americas business
Reporting to Kantar chief executive Chris Jansen, Bordelon (pictured) will lead the company’s US regional team in growing its relationships with some of the world’s biggest consumer-facing companies and partnering with them as they face one of the most challenging and transformational periods in recent history.
Prior to joining Kantar, Bordelon held various executive roles at global performance marketing agency Merkle. During his tenure, Merkle grew seven-fold to over $1bn in annual revenues and was sold to Dentsu International.
As chief client officer and a member of the executive committee, Bordelon’s focus was building and scaling a go-to-market strategy grounded in client engagement and value.
Bordelon also previously worked at marketing technology firm Acxiom, where he spent six years as Asia-Pacific chief growth officer, based in Australia, China, then Singapore.
“In Will, we are appointing a leader with significant experience in driving customer engagement and top and bottom-line growth in marketing and data/analytics services,” commented Jansen.
“Our next phase of growth will be heavily influenced by advanced data analytics. Will’s track record of building and transforming businesses in this space and supporting teams to create a high performing and client-centric culture will be a wonderful asset as we partner with clients across the region in growing their marketing technology capabilities.”
