Kantar chair to lead BT board
Crozier (pictured), formerly chief executive at ITV, was appointed chair of Kantar in February 2020. He is also currently chair of Whitbread and Asos.
He will join the BT board as an independent non-executive director and chair designate with effect from 1st November and will become chair with effect from December, when du Plessis retires from the board.
Crozier will stay on as chair of Kantar alongside his new role. On taking up the BT chair position, he will step down as chair of Asos on 29th November and as non-executive director at Sony, effective from 29th December.
Iain Conn, senior independent director at BT, said: “After a thorough and comprehensive process to ensure we identified the very best candidate to lead BT, Adam is the unanimous choice of the board. He has significant experience in leading public company boards, developing teams and managing stakeholders and brings a strong transformational and operational track record in large-scale executive roles.”
