Keir Starmer to speak at MRS annual conference
Sir Keir will take part in a conversation with Deborah Mattinson, founding partner of BritainThinks, about the issues that will preoccupy Britain in the next year.
The keynote session is at 3pm on the first day of the conference – 16th March – with delegates also available to access the session on demand anytime thereafter.
Jane Frost, chief executive of MRS, said: “It is really appropriate that MRS has this fabulous opportunity to hear from Keir Starmer, whose career exemplifies the importance of evidence. I know this will be a fascinating session.
“Past Labour prime minister Harold Wilson was a president of MRS, so this session is in a proud tradition.”
The conference will take place over three days via an online platform this year. Other keynote speakers include Camilla Pang, author of Explaining Humans, and statistician and author Sir David Spiegelhalter.
