Lightspeed appoints EMEA MDs

UK – Digital collection company Lightspeed has promoted Jackie Blackler and Simon Buckley to the positions of co-managing directors for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

They will be based in the London office, reporting to Caroline Frankum, global chief executive officer, and will be responsible for operations, sales, marketing, leadership and development of the business across seven European offices.

Blackler joined Lightspeed in 2018 as vice-president of client services. Prior to joining the company, she was global account director at Kantar and global media director at Kantar Worldpanel.

Buckley has been at Lightspeed since 2008, most recently as vice-president of client development. He has also worked at Kantar and Kantar Millward Brown.

Frankum said: “Jackie and Simon have played integral roles in Lightspeed’s growth, and share the same core values and goals to support the performance of EMEA going forward. Their abilities and management styles complement each other perfectly, and have helped solidify our EMEA performance as best in class in our industry.”
