Macfarlane up against Bell and Sopp for MRS chairmanship

UK— Phyllis Macfarlane will compete against a joint candidature from Nikki Bell and Leslie Sopp for the chairmanship of the Market Research Society (MRS).

Macfarlane is UK chairman of GfK NOP, while Nikki Bell is a director of FMR Research and Leslie Sopp is market research manager at the Financial Services Authority.

The candidates for the remaining seats on the MRS’s council are Stephen Bairfelt, Crispin Beale, Helen Bennie, Johnny Caldwell, Martin Cary, Vipul Chokshi, Kirsty Fuller, Gina Gannon, Gavin Hilton, Liz Nelson, Surinder Siama and Yvonne Taylor.

The election will be conducted online from 2 February to 6 March by Electoral Reform Services.
