M/A/R/C buys Horowitz Research

Founded in 1985 by Howard Horowitz and headquartered in New Rochelle, New York, Horowitz Research offers custom qualitative and quantitative research and syndicated research studies.
Employing around 15 staff, the company focuses on research with consumers and their relationships with media, content and technology, with clients in television, technology, telecommunications and digital media.
Through its multicultural division, Surveys Unlimited, the company offers consulting and research services about Hispanic, black, Asian and international consumers.
Adriana Waterston, chief revenue officer and insights and strategy leader, and Nuria Riera, chief operations officer, will continue to manage the business, which will operate under the M/A/R/C brand.
Through the acquisition, M/A/R/C Research will expand its portfolio to offer syndicated research and gain additional expertise.
Merrill Dubrow, chief executive, M/A/R/C, said: “I’ve enjoyed getting to learn more about Horowitz Research and its team during this process. Their syndicated experience and client offerings are a perfect complement to M/A/R/C’s business.”
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
