Maru/Matchbox hires retail and tech SVP

CANADA – Consumer intelligence firm Maru/Matchbox has appointed Kyle Davies as senior vice-president of its retail and technology practice and head of syndicated.

Davies joins the company from customer engagement agency Bond Brand Loyalty, where he was vice-president of global insights. He spent a decade with the firm, prior to which he was research manager at comScore.

The hire follows the recent promotion of Michelle Walkey to managing director of retail and technology and the addition of Allan Dykstra to the team.

Walkey said: “Kyle’s expertise and global experience are a powerful addition to the squad.”

In addition to joining the retail and technology team, Davies will also be leading Maru/Matchbox’s syndicated offer as head of syndicated, working with chief innovation and solutions officer Todd Trautz and Maru Group chief executive Ged Parton.

Trautz said: “We see great opportunities to provide our clients with the big picture insights that syndicated studies can offer. Kyle will be integral to developing our syndicated solutions.”
