Media iQ hires Tray as global CFO

UK – Analytics and technology company Media iQ has appointed MediaCom’s Simon Tray as global chief financial officer.

Tray (pictured) held the role of global chief financial officer at the media agency and had been part of the leadership team for 19 years. He became the first chief financial officer for GroupM UK following WPP’s acquisition of MediaCom in 2005.

In his new role, he will be responsible for Media iQ’s financial performance and reporting of business, overseeing future operational business planning and commercial risk management.

Gurman Hundal, chief executive at Media iQ, said Tray’s appointment will bring “a vast amount of experience” and “unique insights to drive financial performance”.
