Merkle names first UK CEO
Stagg (pictured) will lead Merkle’s UK operations alongside overseeing customer experience work for its parent firm, Dentsu. She will report to Merkle’s incoming Europe, Middle East and Africa president Margaret Wagner.
Stagg’s work for Dentsu includes overseeing data and analytics, customer relationship management, media, commerce, business to business and digital experience services. Merkle has been 100% owned by Dentsu since earlier this year, four years after the company acquired a majority stake.
Before taking on her new role, Stagg was head of client services at Merkle, where she led the creation of a fully-integrated client services team across the company’s media, analytics, customer experience and technology service work.
Stagg was also previously managing director of Indicia, as well as chief client officer for its parent company KMMS.
Wagner said: “Anne has shown consistently strong leadership throughout her time at Merkle, overseeing our client services and sustaining our business performance and growth across the UK in these challenging times.
“I have no doubt that she will continue to lead the company to new heights with the same drive and achieve immense success.”
