MRS launches survey on research sector diversity and inclusion

UK – The Market Research Society has launched a survey on individuals’ experiences of equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging in the market research industry, to assess the sector’s progress on diversity.

The 2024 MRS ‘Who Do We Think We Are?’ survey seeks to obtain data that can be used to shape priorities for the Society’s work, support current and future talent and help to create a more diverse sector.

The online survey questionnaire asks participants about who they are and how they self-identify, and their views on and experiences of equality, diversity and inclusion at work. The survey will be open until the end of October.

MRS plans to issue headline results in late November, with a full report published in January 2025.

Jane Frost, chief executive, MRS, said: “If you believe evidence matters, then participate in the survey and help shape the future of the policies and practices that are going to help our brilliant profession really offer diverse opportunities and ensure we deliver truly representative research.”
