Nebu acquired by Canadian software company

CANADA & THE NETHERLANDS – Software company Enghouse has acquired Amsterdam-based market research and analytics software business Nebu for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will expand Enghouse’s products and presence in the Netherlands.

Nebu’s Data Suite, a set of software and cloud services including a data collection engine, allows researchers to automate cleaning, restructuring, processing and analysing of data to visualise results in interactive dashboards and reports.

Enghouse, headquartered in Markham, Ontario, offers enterprise software focusing on remote work, visual computing and communications.

Through the acqusition, the company will also gain access to Nebu’s multi-mode data collection tool that operates in voice, online, offline and mobile modes, and its central management platform, which can be used to automate the research process.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Steve Sadler, chairman and chief executive, Enghouse, said: "Nebu enhances our market research solutions and increases our footprint to better serve new and existing customers. We also see an opportunity to combine surveying and community technologies with our AI capabilities to help our customers to gain insights into the voice of the customer."

Otto van Linden, managing director, Nebu, said: "We are excited to join Enghouse as we continue to expand with new accounts and support our existing customer base."
