Netquest appoints Marc Smaluhn as managing director for Europe
Barcelona-based Netquest runs panels in Spain and Latin America, and is now expanding into Germany, France, Italy and the UK. In June it hired Johnny Caldwell, formerly of Nepa, as managing director for the UK.
Smaluhn has been in market research for more than 11 years and spent five years as managing director of DoubleClick in Germany, before it was acquired by Google.
He said: “I’m excited to join Netquest because it’s a company that combines high quality and deeply profiled consumer panels with an ability to provide behavioural and market data. And that’s something completely unique right now.”
Netquest CEO and founder Germán Loewe said: “Marc has an impressive background and successful track record in not only large-scale management, but market research as well.”
