New MD at Kantar Sweden

SWEDEN – Data and analytics business Kantar has appointed Patrik Gamryd as managing director of Kantar Sweden, effective from 3rd February.

Gamryd (pictured) joins Kantar from a dual role as chief executive officer at Dentsu Switzerland and Dentsu’s customer experience management agency Merkle DACH, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

At Merkle, Gamryd led the merger of Isobar Switzerland and Namics AG to create Merkle DACH, launching the brand in six countries and overseeing its growth to a team of more than 1,800.

Gamryd has also led restructuring of InkClub as chief executive and headed the creation of the Dentsu Aegis Network Sweden.

Gonzalo Fuentes, chief executive officer at Kantar’s insights division in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “Patrik’s values perfectly align with our growth ambitions and strategic priority – to shape our clients’ brands with the incredible expertise of our teams, our IP and our solutions.

“His considerable leadership experience is a real asset to our Swedish team.”
