New regional leadership at MetrixLab

THE NETHERLANDS – Global digital research agency MetrixLab has made a number of promotions, appointing four regional managing directors in Europe, Latam, Amea and North America, and establishing two new teams focusing on innovation and consultancy.

Angela Morgans, MetrixLab’s UK managing director (pictured), has been appointed as regional MD for Europe. Morgans joined the company in 2014, and prior to that was group head of sales and client management at Millward Brown.

The company’s Brazil MD, Rebeca Dreicon, has been named regional MD for the Latin America (Latam) region. Dreicon also joined MetrixLab in 2014, previously working for Kantar, TNS and Ipsos Mori.

Singapore-based Rob Valsler, previously regional managing director for South and Southeast Asia, becomes MD for Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific (Amea). Before joining the company in 2015, he was managing director of Macromill’s Singapore office.

In the US, executive vice president of global key accounts, Kevin Moran, has been appointed as MD for North America. Moran was previously chief executive of research consultancy Acturus.

The company’s existing country managing directors will report to the new regional MDs.

Thijs Elias, chief executive at MetrixLab, said: “This excellent team of regional managing directors will ensure that we continue to put our clients at the heart of everything we do and focus all our energies on serving our clients better.” 

In addition to the regional appointments, Jolique Weelink, MD of social media insights, will lead a new team focusing on innovation and growth, and Jay Pluhar, executive vice president – global knowledge innovation consulting, will lead an Impact Consultancy team working alongside the regional MDs to focus on the company’s key portfolio.
