Nielsen buys VisualDNA
In December Nielsen announced it had acquired media data company Gracenote and the VisualDNA purchase followed hot on its heels according to The Drum.
A spokesperson for Nielsen, told the publication: “I can confirm that Nielsen has completed an acquisition of VisualDNA. The VisualDNA analytics solution, consumer survey capabilities and data footprint will enhance Nielsen Marketing Cloud roll-out in Europe.”
VisualDNA was founded in 2006 by Alex Willcock and is based in London.
