Nielsen launches preliminary reporting for OOH TV audiences
The new reporting, which is an extension of the national TV out-of-home service launched in April 2017, speeds up the delivery of insights for linear TV viewing outside of the home, such as in restaurants, bars and hotels.
Subscribers to the service will now be able to receive individual telecast data within four business days of airing, compared to the national TV out-of-home service, which reports seven days of viewing at a time.
Kelly Abcarian, senior vice-president, Nielsen Product Leadership, said: "By expediting this process for subscribing clients, they now have an increased ability to compare out-of-home viewing directly to in-home audiences and make business decisions in a shorter period of time."
