Nielsen partners with Conroy Media

US – Nielsen has signed an agreement with full-service boutique media buying agency Conroy Media for local TV and audio electronic ratings services.

The Illinois-based company has been a subscriber to Nielsen Scarborough for a while, but has now expanded the relationship in a long-term deal covering multiple markets across the US.

Sue Conroy McLeod, president, Conroy Media, said the company had partnered with Nielsen due to "accountability", the "expertise needed to identify appropriate channels to cover geographic footprints" and "ability to back up recommendations with data".

Conroy Media works with clients in sectors including healthcare, government, tourism and consumer packaged goods.

David Hohman, executive vice-president and managing director, Nielsen Media Demand Side, said: "We are excited to share our enhanced local TV measurement and audio products to help Conroy continue to provide its clients with excellent service, and grow its business using Nielsen’s comprehensive and accurate audience measurement insights."
