Out Now expands LGBT survey across LatAm

ARGENTINA — Out Now Consulting is expanding its previously announced study of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) consumers in Argentina to cover Brazil, Uruguay and Chile.

The firm, which was formed in Australia in 1992, will open an office in Buenos Aires to support work on the survey, and GNetwork360’s Pablo De Luca and Gustavo Noguera will work with Out Now as consultants.

Out Now CEO Ian Johnson said: “When we looked at the Latin American region it was obvious that there is a pressing information need for many different purposes for research of this kind. That need is every bit as pressing in Brazil, Uruguay and Chile as it is in Argentina.

On the company’s new consultants, Johnson said: “Both Pablo and Gustavo are smart and dedicated professionals and their involvement with Out Now will be a very good thing for the more than 12 million gays and lesbians living across the areas we are now commencing work in.”

Results of the survey are due in late 2010 and will be released as a syndicated report.
