PlumResearch hires research director

POLAND & UK – Warsaw-headquartered entertainment data insight business PlumResearch has appointed Jonathan Broughton as research director, based in London.

Broughton (pictured) joins the company from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), where was head of strategy, and has also held roles at Workshare Consulting, Media Business Insight, and IHS Markit.

At PlumResearch, Broughton is responsible for advancing the company’s analytics and insights offer in the entertainment industry, focusing on product development and strategic consulting. 

Lukasz Jeziorski, founder and chief executive, PlumResearch, said: "Jonathan’s strategic vision will be invaluable as we enhance our analytics capabilities and solidify PlumResearch’s leadership in the market. His media expertise will guide our innovative efforts and strategic direction."

Founded in 2015 in Warsaw, Poland, PlumResearch offers insights and analytics for the entertainment sector, with clients including broadcasters, television networks, talent agencies and independent film studios.
