Polling Europe launched by OpinionWay and SWG

FRANCE – French and Italian opinion research companies OpinionWay and SWG have partnered to launch a Brussels-based research institute, Polling Europe.

Brussels

The organisation offers research for European institutions, committees, parliamentary groups, think tanks, advertisers, and business and consultancy firms.

The businesses have partnered in response to what they call a ‘growing need for reliable and timely data on public trends and opinions across Europe’.

Founded in 2000, Paris-headquartered OpinionWay operates on five continents, with offices in France, North Africa, Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.

SWG, headquartered in Trieste, has been monitoring public opinion in Italy since 1981.

Hugues Cazenave, chairman, OpinionWay, said: "The alliance with SWG marks a new stage in our vision of opinion and marketing research. Polling Europe goes beyond borders to offer pan-European analysis, which is essential in a world where opinions are having a more direct influence on political and economic decisions every day."
