Rait acquires majority stake in Danish research business
Rait, which is a division of research and data group Statco, said the acquisition would help build a northern European research network covering Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The acquisition follows a similar deal agreed last year between Rait and experience management business Synopticom, which saw Rait take a majority stake in the company.
Dovilė Končak, chief executive at Rait, said: “With Wilke joining us, our presence in the Nordic region is stronger than ever.
“This merger underscores our commitment to broadening our geographical footprint, ensuring that we serve and understand the Nordic community even better.”
Stine Halberg, managing director at Wilke, said: “Joining forces with Rait marks a pivotal moment for Wilke.
“Our combined strengths pave the way for enhanced research capabilities in northern Europe, and we’re eager to explore the opportunities this partnership brings.”
Morten Schrøder, co-founder at Wilke, added: “Our expansion vision for Wilke is now realised, ensuring our clients and our dedicated team benefit from enhanced research capabilities and a broader international perspective.”
