RealityMine begins Disney+ measurement
The agreement will allow clients to access data on viewing activity across devices from opted-in consumers.
Disney+ was launched last year as a rival to streaming giants Netflix and Amazon, and has already attracted more than 86 million paid subscribers worldwide.
The RealityMine agreement also covers Disney’s Indian streaming service Hotstar, which accounts for 30% of Disney+ subscriptions.
Billy Grant, head of product at RealityMine, said: “With a depth of high-demand content at their disposal and the high likelihood of a fundamental change in film distribution post Covid-19, we are seeing significant demand for the measurement of high growth, emerging subscription-video-on-demand services from our client base.
“The addition of Disney+ and Hotstar to RealityMine’s RealLife capabilities will provide our clients with a standardised, single source view of the titles being viewed within these services. This will provide clients with a deep understanding of the viewing reach, frequency and duration being achieved by titles within this platform.”
