Research Live Awards 2023 finalists published

UK – The Research Live Awards finalists have been named by the Market Research Society (MRS) ahead of the MRS Awards later this year.

The agency of the year award, sponsored by Prevision Research, has 12 finalists: Basis Research Group, Beano Brain, Boxclever, Differentology, DJS Research, FlexMR, IFF Research, Kokoro, MTM, Opinium, Savanta and Verve.

Best new venture will be contested between Differentology, Obsurvant, Opinium Amsterdam and Potentia Insight.

The award for best place to work, sponsored by I-view, has nine finalists, featuring BVA BDRC, DJS Research, Empower Translate, Firefish, IFF Research, Ipsos, Kokoro, Opinium and Zappi.

There are two Research Live business impact of the year awards, with the global category sponsored by OnePoll and featuring the finalists BBC World Service, C Space and Global Hotel Alliance, Deep Blue Thinking and Basis, Formula E and Context, Human8 and Philips, Mars Petcare, McCann Truth Central and General Motors, and Strat7 Incite and Kenvue.

Business impact of the year – UK will be contested between the BBC, Deep Blue Thinking and Checkatrade, Human8 and Nationwide Building Society, Virgin Media O2, and Walnut Unlimited and Sainsbury’s.

Innovation of the year, which is judged in a Dragon’s Den-style pitch to a panel of judges and is sponsored this year by Quirk’s Media, includes Freemavens, Inspirient and Kantar as finalists.

The BBC, Formula E, Google, Holland & Barrett, HSBC, LADbible Group, Nexus, Reckitt, Sky and Youth Sport Trust will compete for in-house team of the year, sponsored by Context+.

The first of two young researcher of the year awards, aimed at clients and sponsored by Opinium, has the following as finalists: Jigna Tailor at Acacium Group, Joe Blamey at the BBC, and William Kipping at The Football Association.

Young researcher of the year – supplier, sponsored by IFF Research, will feature: Christina Tarbotton at Boxclever, Daniella Mercado at The7stars, Deana Kotiga at Ipsos UK, Ellie Gould at 2CV, Florian Preusser at Kantar Profiles, Garima Agarwal at Purple Audacity Research & Innovation, Hatty Gittins at Kadence International, Joshua Proctor at Jump! Innovation, LaShanda Seaman at Opinium, Morgan Burgess at MTM, Robert McLaren at The7stars, Tom Richer at Differentology/The Bridge Between, and Zoe Rivlin at Opinium.

Winners will be announced at the MRS awards, supported by principal sponsor Walr, which will take place on 4th December 2023 at Old Billingsgate, London.
