Most recently vice-president of business development at Vision Critical, Janczak will focus on the healthcare, utilities, finance and automotive verticals, as well as consumer packaged goods.

Fergusson has been head of sales at software startup Helpful.com since 2017, and prior to that was director of sales at Vision Critical. At Rival Technologies, he will work in the media, sports, entertainment, retail, technology and telecommunications sectors.

Vancouver-headquartered Rival Technologies was launched in 2017 by Vision Critical founder Andrew Reid, as part of the Reid Campbell Group holding company. Brands can use the research platform to gain insight on consumers through SMS, social media and messaging apps.

Reid said: “Our clients look to us to reach their customers on the platforms they use and engage with most. Dan and Mike are brilliant at connecting brands to the tools they need.”
