Savanta buys research division of Wealth-X
Previously known as Ledbury Research, the purchase will see its senior vice-president and managing director, Torie Bold (pictured, middle), director Winston Chesterfield, and the team of 10 consultants all move to Savanta and form its wealth & luxury practice.
Bold said: “This will be of huge benefit to our clients. In some respects, nothing is changing – the wealth & luxury practice still offers deep specialist expertise, decades of experience and a boutique approach. But now we can better access hard-to-reach audiences using Savanta’s survey platform and uncover fresh insights using the broad array of innovative techniques that Savanta offers.”
Savanta global CEO, Roger Perowne (pictured, far right), added: “We’re delighted to welcome Torie and the team to Savanta. Together we’re building a wealth & luxury practice which will have unparalleled access to the customers of luxury brands and a team of consultants with the experience needed to advise those brands on the tough calls they need to make.”
Savanta launched earlier this month with the merger of MIG Global’s research brands Morar HPI, Viga, Circle and Charterhouse into the new brand.
Wealth intelligence specialist, Wealth-X, bought luxury market research firm Ledbury Research in February 2015.
