Signoi Ltd launches video analysis tool
Signoi analytical services will allow clients to access metrics that can provide insights into video content.
Metrics in the service include visual complexity, colour content, narrative shift, coherence and the flow of the video.
Signoi, which is based in Brighton, will also provide quantitative semiotic analysis of videos, which will allow higher order semiotic flows within videos to be identified to pinpoint significant shifts in motifs within a video
Andrew Jeavons, co-founder at Signoi Ltd, said: “The analysis of videos, particularly advertisements and social media videos, is of critical importance for both the marketing and advertising industries.
“We have enhanced our existing automated image analysis software to be able to provide comprehensive analytics of videos from any source. Moreover, this can be done on hundreds or thousands of videos within a relatively short time.”
Andy Dexter, co-founder at Signoi Ltd, said: “In depth, objective analysis of videos at scale using higher order semiotic frameworks is a first within the marketing and advertising industries.
“We think this could revolutionise the analysis of videos and only lead to deeper, more actionable insights at pace and scale.”
