Simon-Kucher & Partners reports 24% rise in first nine months

UK— Strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has reported a 24% increase in revenue in the first nine months of the year to £86.5m.

The company, which employs 650 people worldwide, says that incoming orders total almost £94.2m and it expects 2012 to be its most profitable year yet. It has hired an additional 129 employees in the past 10 months, with the majority based outside Germany, where its headquarters are.

“We are still growing considerably stronger than the market and anticipate record revenues of over £112m for 2012,” said co-CEO Georg Tacke (pictured). “The insecurity caused by widespread media reports of the crisis is being felt by very few of our clients, if any at all.”

The firm says it will continue to focus on international growth following the opening of new offices in Dubai and Turkey. Tacke added: “By spring 2013 we will be serving the Latin American market out of our new local offices in Brazil and Chile.”
