Sproston promoted at ORC International

AUSTRALIA – Engine-owned business intelligence firm ORC International has promoted Kerry Sproston to managing director of government and social research in Australia.

Sproston joined the company in 2012 as a senior research director. Prior to ORC International, she held roles at Ogilvy Illumination and NatCen.

In her new role, she will be responsible for driving growth and diversification for the company in the social research arena. Public sector research accounts for 40% of ORC’s business in Australia.

Craig Young, Australia managing director of ORC International and Engine, said: "Kerry has been instrumental in expanding our social research arm into new strategic areas, especially in the gambling research space where she brings long-established partnerships with leading academic institutions. Under Kerry’s leadership, the social research group will go from strength to strength."
