Strat7 acquires Incite
Incite, formerly part of Kin + Carta, was founded in 2000 and combines insight with management consultancy.
The acquisition will allow Incite to benefit from Strat7’s consumer and customer data collection software and data analytics, while also expanding to Asia-Pacific.
Strat7 will allow clients to access data analytics, insight and strategic consulting from Incite following the acquisition, as well as expand its presence in the US.
Following the completion of the deal, Incite will join fellow Strat7 group companies Strat7 ResearchBods, Strat7 LiFE, Strat7 Crowd DNA, Strat7+ and Strat7 Bonamy Finch.
Incite works across sectors such as technology, financial services, healthcare, retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and has offices in London, New York, San Francisco and Chicago.
Barrie Brien (pictured), chief executive of Strat7, said: “It’s a great fit for Strat7. The deal gives us a stronger footing in several industry verticals, including healthcare, technology, FMCG and financial services, plus we’ll have a much stronger presence in the US market, the world’s largest for market research, trends and insights.”
Peter Kneale, global managing director at Incite, said: “We’re joining a bigger community of like-minded researchers, planners and strategists and the combination of our strengths and the existing Strat7 businesses will bring real benefit to our clients.
“In particular, Strat7’s expertise in customer analytics, cultural insight and research technology platforms are highly complementary and will provide an immediate boost to our offer.”
