Survata raises $1.5m in seed funding

US — Survey research services provider Survata has raised $1.5m in a seed round led by institutional investors PivotNorth Capital and SoftTech.

Survata will use the funding to accelerate product development, increase investment in its methodology department, and ramp up sales efforts.

Survata was launched through the Y Combinator accelerator program in 2012 and surveys consumers found through paying online publishers; currently reaching over 2m consumers per month across its network.

“We’re excited to work with leading investors like PivotNorth and SoftTech to expand our services to even more clients,” said Survata co-founder Chris Kelly.
