Telco names Pulse Group preferred research vendor

MALAYSIA— Outsourcing firm Pulse Group has been handed preferred research vendor status by Telekom Malaysia.

Bob Chua (pictured), CEO of Pulse, said: “We are incredibly pleased to be selected as a preferred research supplier to Telekom Malaysia, especially when the need for real-time and relevant insights are highly required in this ultra-competitive telco market.”

Pulse said it is currently working on “various large-scale bids” for Telekom Malaysia, which it plans to roll out in early 2010.

Telekom Malaysia is the country’s largest telecoms provider and spends more than $25m annually on advertising its fixed line, mobile and ISP businesses, Pulse said.
