Toluna partners with Canvs

US – Insights provider Toluna has partnered with text analytics company Canvs to offer Canvs’ services through its consumer intelligence platform.

Canvs focuses on analysing open-ended text, can identify 42 separate core emotions and understands modern slang, emojis and shorthand text as well as more traditional language.

The partnership will see Canvs emotion measurement artificial intelligence tool added to Toluna’s consumer intelligence platform ‘Toluna Start’.

The agreement will mean Toluna Start clients have access to tools to visualise digital conversations, and analyse and code open-ended text in surveys and moderated interviews.

Debbie Senior, vice-president of product automation at Toluna, said: “Toluna Start clients now have efficient automated access to the coding of their qualitative and quantitative open-ended text.

“This strategic partnership is in line with our promise to provide innovative, real-time and on-demand access to consumer insights at a global scale.”
