Torfac expands sales team

CANADA – Digital research technology specialist Torfac has appointed former Branded Research executive Vishal Yadav as senior director of client development to lead the expansion of its sales team in the EU and APAC regions.

Yadav (pictured) is an industry veteran with over 14 years’ experience in the online market research space. He holds an MBA in Finance and is a qualified engineer; previously, he worked with organisations such as Evalueserve, Toluna and Branded Research.

As an assistant director of client development at Branded, his role included managing key client accounts and a team of project managers to ensure end-to-end delivery. In his new role, Yadav will support the organisation’s sales strategy and client development.

Commenting on the appointment, chief revenue officer Nimai Sharma said: “I am confident Vishal will be an indispensable addition to the Torfac sales family. With Vishal’s recent past assignment, he is well equipped to drive client development and expansion in new regions.”

Previously known as WiseWorks, Torfac has proprietary speciality panels in more than 28 countries, focusing on B2B and harder-to-reach consumer segments, along with a full suite of end-to-end research services. Headquartered in Toronto, the company has offices in Miami, Singapore and New Delhi.
