Total Content Ratings release put back by Nielsen
At a meeting between Nielsen and its clients last week a new release date was not agreed, according to a report in Ad Age.
The product would allow the data for cross-platform measurement for every network using the technology to be public. It would measure all viewing regardless of location and include mobile devices and streamed content.
While the total data will not be publicly available, networks can release TCR data on its own shows to ad buyers and the media from the beginning of March.
"We are reassessing the syndicated product and are planning for it at some point in the future," said Jessica Hogue, senior vice-president of product leadership, Nielsen.
