Trax and Snooper partner on retail insights
The companies will provide brands in the two countries with a store auditing solution combining image recognition and crowdsourcing.
The partnership includes consumer packaged goods companies being able to use Snooper’s app to collect real-time data from more than 75,000 shoppers.
Data is collected and analysed by Trax’s computer vision platform, which can turn images of shelves in shops into real-time insights.
Aaron Eccleston, country manager for Australia and New Zealand at Trax, said: “Brands can identify performance gaps and take corrective actions in-store where and when it matters for issues such as out-of-stocks and compliance.
“This creates better shopper experiences and drives growth, especially in instances where our customers’ own field teams are unable to support their needs.”
Laurie Wespes, chief executive and co-founder at Snooper, said: “By partnering with Trax, we will provide additional opportunities to support our shoppers during this challenging period.
“Our shoppers are now completing missions during essential shopping trips only and need to follow the strict hygiene guidelines explained in our app.”
