Two senior hires at Basis

UK – Insights consultancy Basis Research has appointed Ian Bramley as head of quant and Karsten Shaw as head of data science and analytics.

Bramley (pictured, left) was managing director of research at Yonder/Populus until last year. He has worked in sectors including media, transport, utilities and technology during his career in agencies and as a freelance consultant.

Shaw (pictured, right) joins Basis to lead the data science and analytics team, also from Yonder, where he was analytics partner. He has spent around 25 years working in data analytics and statistics.

Polly Shrager, managing partner of consumer B2B UK at Basis, said: “Ian and Karsten bring with them an unparalleled wealth of experience and expertise that will further enhance our offer to clients.”
